I often find myself thinking in a negative way – I have to catch myself and work hard to turn that negative into a positive.
Here’s the deal. You can link up by using the button below if you want to. If you don’t – that’s totally fine! You can link up whenever you want, or just comment with your Mental Monday thought.
How it works: On Mondays, think of a negative thought you had today, or last week. Give it some air by saying it out loud. Then let it go. Pick a positive thought to replace it with.
Here’s my Mental Monday Moment:
‘I am so cranky about tapering – I’m just going to sit around losing muscle and feeling FAT’
I’m letting that thought go. Instead, I’m replacing it with
‘I am so excited to finally be tapering. I’m fitter than I’ve ever been, and it’s all going to pay off’.
It doesn’t have to be sport related – last week, mine was ‘I can’t fit all of this in!’ and I replaced it with ‘yes I can, all of this is manageable’.
